Cheddar Cycle Hire - For All Abilities
As well as our hybrid bikes (pictured above) we also hire a range of bikes to cover all abilities. We are in a great location with the start of the Strawberry Line National Cycle Route 26 on our doorstep so you can enjoy miles of almost traffic free cycling.
Duo Tandem Tricycle
This versatile tricycle allows either or both riders to participate in steering and pedalling. The Duo has a combined max user weight (rider & passenger)of 175Kg. The front rider age range is 7 years to adult.
Draisin Plus Wheelchair Tandem
This tricycle is carefully balanced in order to make steering and pedalling as easy as possible and it's suspension system makes it supremely comfortable. The wheelchair unit can be simply disconnected from the drive section of the tricycle for popping into cafes etc. The Draisin Plus has 7 forward gears and can be pedalled backwards for easy manoeuvring.
Eclipse Tricycle
Designed for children and young adults who may require closer supervision or who may not have the understanding, or perhaps the manual dexterity to operate gears and dual brakes. Approx age range: 11 years to adult.
Excelerator Hand Pedal Cycle
Stable, manoeuvrable, and easy to transfer into and out of, the Excelerator can go up to 15 mph. Allows you to tackle hills or level terrain with equal ease and reverse braking means your hands never have to leave the pedals.
